ചെറുവണ്ണൂര്‍ ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാന വിഭവഭൂപടങ്ങള്‍, തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തു് കരകുളത്തുള്ള ഗ്രാമീണ പഠന കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റെ മേല്‍നോട്ടത്തില്‍ ഗ്രാമവാസികളായ നിരവധി സന്നദ്ധപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തത്തോടെ 2003 ലാണു് നിര്‍മ്മിക്കപ്പെട്ടതു്. ആസ്തി, ഭൂവിനിയോഗം എന്നിവ 5, ജലവിഭവം 5 എന്നിങ്ങനെ ആകെ 10 ഷീറ്റുകളിലായിട്ടാണു് ഈ വിഭവഭൂപടം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി വച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതു്. പ്രസ്തുത പഞ്ചായത്തുതല വിഭവഭൂപടവും, പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ ആസ്തിരജിസ്റ്ററുകളിലും മറ്റു രേഖകളിലുമുള്ള വിവരങ്ങളും കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തുകൊണ്ടു് എങ്ങനെ ഇത്തരമൊരു സംവിധാനം രൂപപ്പെടുത്തി എടുത്തു എന്നു് പലരും അന്വേഷിയ്ക്കുന്നുണ്ടു്. വിഭവഭൂപടനിര്‍മ്മാണം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ള മറ്റു പഞ്ചായത്തുകള്‍ക്കും മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റികള്‍ക്കും ഒക്കെ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുത്താവുന്ന ഒരു രീതി ആയതിനാല്‍ എല്ലാവരുടെയും അറിവിലേക്കായി പ്രസ്തുത വിവരം ചുരുക്കത്തില്‍ ഇവിടെ ഇട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. വ്യക്തിപരമായ ചില തിരക്കുകളില്‍ പെട്ടുപോയതിനാലും മറ്റു ചില അസൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ നേരിട്ടതിനാലുമാണ് ഇതിത്രയും വൈകിയതു്. ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാന വിഭവഭൂപട നിര്‍മ്മാണയജ്ഞത്തില്‍ പങ്കാളികളായിരുന്ന എല്ലാവരേയും അനുസ്മരിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം, വൈകിയതിലുള്ള ക്ഷമാപണത്തോടെ, ഇതു സംബന്ധിച്ച ഏതു തരം സംശയങ്ങളും സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. - നെടുമ്പാല ജയ്സെന്‍.
